Miita, Therapy Dog

Miita ( phonetically“my eat ah”)

Little Miita was adopted by Nancy as our therapy dog summer of 2007. She was skinny, homeless and flea infested when found wandering in the woods. The Director for the Humane Society knew Nancy had been searching for a therapy dog and suggested she consider this tiny 3.5 pound Chihuahua . It was love at first sight for owner and pet. Miita loves greeting clients in the waiting area and Nancy 's goal is to train the first “quiet” Chihuahua in history.

The suffix “ ita ” means tiny in Spanish. Nancy added the Mi, hence the name Miita. Top of Page
